This is a vintage Pendleton wool shirt that has been selected for its flaws - specifically, two small holes on the upper left shoulder. Zoom in on photo two for details of the mend.
This shirt was salvaged from a second hand store, and has been repaired through visible mending in a way to both reinforce the fabric as well as add an interesting visual element to the clothing.
The mending styles used to repair this garment is a woven darn, using repurposed cotton yarn.
